MANA AKITANGA Mana pochodzi z Polinezji, urodził się na świętej wyspie Ra’iatea, legendarnej Havai’i Nui. Jego rodzina wywodzi się z ostatniego klanu/plemienia, które stawiło opór kolonizatorom na Wyspach Nawietrznych i w Aotearoa (Nowa Zelandia). Zgodnie z tradycją, dorastając pod opieką dziadków, poznawał historię swoich przodków, ich kulturę i zwyczaje. Skrzętnie strzeże opowieści i legend Polinezji, które przekazywano mu od najmłodszych lat. Jego misją jest dzielenie się autentyczną kulturą polinezyjską. +++ Mana comes from Polynesia, born on the sacred island of Ra’iatea, the legendary Havai’i Nui. His family traces their lineage to the last clan/tribe standing against colonizers in the Leeward islands and Aotearoa (New Zealand). As the traditions oblige, he learnt about his ancestors, cultures, and traditions growing up with his grandparents, guarding dearly the stories and legends of Polynesia, told by his elders in his childhood. Mana’s goal is to share the authentic Polynesian cultures.HINA VANNES Hinatea urodziła się we Francji i ma tahitańskie korzenie po stronie ojca. Jej imię nawiązuje do starożytnej polinezyjskiej Bogini Księżyca – Hina. Głos jej polinezyjskich korzeni był tak silny, że podążyła za swoim dziedzictwem, zostając nauczycielką Ori Tahiti (tradycyjnego tańca tahitańskiego). Podczas pobytu w Europie i Polinezji miała okazję nie tylko zanurzyć się w kulturze Tahiti, ale także poznać inne kultury i tańce Pacyfiku, takie jak hawajskie hula. +++ Hinatea was born in France with Tahitian origins on her father's side. Her name is associated with the ancient Polynesian Goddess of the Moon, Hina. The call of her Polynesian roots was loud and drew her back to her heritage, so she became a teacher of Ori Tahiti (Tahitian traditional dance). During her stay in Europe and Polynesia, she had the opportunity not only to immerse herself in Tahitian culture, but also to connect with other Pacific cultures and dances, such as the Hawaiian hula.
